MG Motor has dropped a brand-new teaser for its upcoming compact SUV, the 2026 MG Hector. The teaser opens with the bold line, “It’s been a while. Get ready to be surprised,” hinting that the next-gen Hector will not be a mere facelift, but a completely refreshed model with a new design philosophy and upgraded interiors.
This will also be the first ICE model launched under JSW leadership, making it an important release for the brand.

What to Expect from the 2026 MG Hector
Fresh Exterior Design
MG is testing the SUV under a full green tarp instead of conventional camouflage—an indication of major exterior changes. The new Hector is expected to receive:
- A redesigned front grille
- New alloy wheels

The signature LED headlamp and tail-lamp design will reportedly be retained.
